Organization
Founded
in 1998, the United States Indoor Soccer Association
(“USIndoor”) is dedicated to serving the interests of its diverse
membership and promoting the sport of indoor soccer. USIndoor offers
a wide range of products and services that support the game’s growing
infrastructure.
USIndoor
is a member organization, having an Advisory Board of Directors.
As such, USIndoor functions much like a trade association,
through which its facility, startup, and corporate members can better
achieve their business goals. Benefited by group buying power and
capabilities of a national association, USIndoor’s facility
members can cut costs, increase revenue opportunities and
improve the quality of their operations, whether directly through
USIndoor or its affiliates. Currently, USIndoor offers facility
members unique access to programming or expertise in the areas of
insurance, marketing, revenue sharing, coin-operated machines, youth
programs, retailing, credit cards, legal services, player cards
and referee certification.
For
startups, expanding facilities,
and corporate members, USIndoor offers referrals
in building construction, synthetic grass, soccer boards, scoreboards,
and management software. USIndoor also provides access to expert
consulting and holds an annual Facility Operators’ Conference
and Trade Show. The Conference has become the industry’s
annual retreat for networking and keeping up on the business’s latest
trends and information. (For details, Conference Reports are available
online via USIndoor’s “Facilities”
page.)
Players
and fans can enjoy learning about the history and excitement
of the game through the USIndoor’s Website, Soccer-Net and Official
Magazine, GOAL Indoor. Tournaments, leagues, and teams
can also benefit from a variety of fund-raising programs, as can
indoor soccer and multi-sport facilities.
No
national organization currently exists for indoor soccer like the
United States Indoor Soccer Association. With the total number of
indoor soccer facilities estimated to be around 650, the 25-(plus)-year-old
indoor soccer industry has witnessed average annual growth of over 15% for the last decade! Similarly, USIndoor has grown from 25
facility and startup members in 2000, to 85 in 2001, to 175 in 2002,
to well over half of the industry.
Working
relentlessly for the indoor soccer industry and its members, USIndoor
has strived to instill a renewed sense of unity, stability, and
leadership. By supporting local youth, adult, and professional indoor
soccer teams and their sponsors, every indoor soccer enthusiast
(and business opportunist) can be a part. In return, USIndoor dedicates
itself to promoting relationships that translate into greater exposure,
faster growth, better programming, and more enjoyment for all those
involved. Together, we are working to take indoor soccer, whether
a small or large part of our members’ operations, to the next level
of competitive play, commercial success, and popularity.
